AFP Journalists on Twitter

LAST UPDATED: July 6, 2012

More and more AFP journalists are on Twitter, to the point where a simple old #FollowFriday is difficult, so I’ve set about compiling a list with as full descriptions of titles as possible. Obviously, some of us tweet more than others. If you’re on the list and I’ve gotten your title wrong, or if I’ve left you off entirely, please let me know.

So, without further ado and in no particular order, here is a regularly-updated list of AFP journalists on Twitter. One small note: By default, I’ve left off any AFP-ers who have set their Twitter feed to protected, but if you want me to add you, leave a note in the comments below, or drop me a line. There are PLENTY of people missing, so please do let me know if I’ve left someone off the list or if I’ve got their title wrong.

You can also follow AFP’s Twitter feeds in English and French, and Social Media Editor Gregoire Le Marchand has put together a great Twitter list of all AFP journalists (across all languages) that you can follow.

UPDATE (15/05/2012): In the hopes of making this list more dynamic and user-friendly, I’ve put it into a table format, so it is sortable and searchable. Each entry has location information and keywords associated so, if you want to find me (I know I’m at the top — it’s my list, sue me), you can type in my name, or Baghdad, or Iraq, or Middle East, or General News. If you want to find one of our Justice Reporters, you can type in Justice, Paris, France, Europe. Hopefully that’s a little more useful.
